“The sensory fragments of memory intrude into the present, where they are literally relived." – Bessel Van Der Kolk

As an artist with a chronic illness, my practice engages in countless series of introspective questions. The search for answers to those questions, in my work, come out through surreal, complicated, and often confusing visual art forms. In my creative process, art making is a response to my alexithymia; it is my way to express the unexplainable. Visual art creation is my way of taking memories, thoughts, dreams, experiences that are inexplicable into surreal visions and communicate them to others.
